One crew, based down the road.
We are a Grass Lake company working across Washtenaw County. The people who quote your job are the people who show up to do it.
A local crew, not a franchise with a map.
Blooms Landscaping is based on Maute Road in Grass Lake. We work the ground our own yard sits on, which is the same clay, the same frost line and the same freeze-thaw cycle as the rest of Washtenaw County.
That matters more than it sounds. A company running crews in from two counties away is guessing at your soil. We are not guessing, because we are dealing with the same problems on our own property that you are dealing with on yours.
It also means the person who walks your property and writes the number is on the crew that does the work. Nothing gets lost between a salesperson and a install team, because there is no salesperson.
- The same crew, start to finish, so nothing gets lost in a handoff.
- Written quotes, with a firm number rather than a range that moves later.
- Published price ranges, so you can tell an honest quote from a cheap one.
- Straight answers, including when the honest answer is do not spend the money.
Everything the property needs, from one crew
Mowing, hardscape, drainage and snow. One company across the whole year means nothing falls between two contractors blaming each other.
Weekly mowing, edging and trimming on a route we keep. Same crew, same day, blown clean before we leave.
Patios, walkways, fire pits and steps, built on a base that survives Michigan freeze-thaw instead of heaving.
Block, boulder and terraced walls with drainage engineered in, because water is what puts a wall on the ground.
Beds, trees and shrubs chosen for clay soil and real shade, planted into soil that was built first.
A few properties from around the county
Walls, patios, beds and turf on real Washtenaw County properties.

Same crew, cleaned up after, and a walkthrough at the end so you can see what you paid for.
About Blooms, answered
Where are you based?
3998 Maute Rd, Grass Lake, MI 49240. We work across Washtenaw County from there, along with Grass Lake, the Irish Hills and Jackson.
What areas do you serve?
Ann Arbor, Chelsea, Dexter, Saline, Ypsilanti, Grass Lake, Manchester, the Irish Hills, Brooklyn and Jackson. Most of our work sits inside Washtenaw County, with Grass Lake and the Irish Hills as home turf.
Do you do both maintenance and installation?
Yes, and that is deliberate. The same crew that builds a bed maintains it, so there is nobody to blame when something goes wrong and nobody arguing about whose work caused it.
Are you insured?
Yes. Licensed, bonded and insured, and we are happy to send the certificate before any work starts.
Do you work with commercial properties?
Yes. Commercial grounds maintenance and snow contracts across the county, on a route set so properties are presentable before they open.
Do you take on small jobs?
Yes. A single bed, one wall, a drainage fix. Not everything has to be a full property project, and we would rather do the one thing that actually needs doing than sell you a plan you did not ask for.
